James N. Thorp Elementary School Home

It is with great excitement that we, Dr. Caridine and Mrs. Kortz, welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year.

 

It has been 12 years since we began our journey as J.N. Thorp’s School Leaders. Over the past 11 years, we have experienced many great successes. This school year, we have set the ‘learning bar’ high, which means we, Thorp Staff and Parents, have lots of work to do to make sure our Thorp Tiger Cubs experience academic and social-emotional success.

 

We will continue with our motto, “ROARing Our Way to Success.” In order for Thorp Tigers to ROAR, they must be Respectful, Optimistic, Achieving, and Responsible.  This school year, we added a theme to our Motto. The theme for this school year is “Commit, Connect, and Care!!”
